On Thursday 3rd October, our full Corporate Services Team held their first Conference, bringing together our Finance, HR, IT, Estates, Governance and Marketing Teams, along with some of our Primary Admin colleagues.
The day was spent celebrating our successes, learning about key topics of importance to our Trust such as Sustainability, and discussing how we can further collaborate to enhance our supportive workplace culture. We also welcomed Tom Dickinson from 'Toms Talks' who gave a moving and impactful keynote speech on Mental Health and wellbeing, with a particular focus on male mental health.
The conference had a clear focus on the future, taking time to understand the Trust's new strategic plan, and how our central team plays a part in every pillar. It was an empowering day where everyone contributed, laughed, supported and shared, and we hope colleagues left with a renewed sense of purpose around our mission - to work in Partnership to Educate, Nurture and Empower.
